Abstract:
This research takes a look into the ever changing world of sports event bidding, examining the impacts on bidding locations - whether they win or lose the bid. By examining the broader implications through qualitative study—including detailed surveys and expert interviews with 16 event organizers—our work unveils how cities transform the bidding process into a catalyst for urban and social development.
