In Austria, Mountain Trees are Stressed

Álex Tuñas Corzón (PhD Student in Alpine Biology & Global Change)
Trees are not just plants that grow tall and old. They are incredible creatures with fascinating attributes that are usually taken for granted, not well known or underestimated. Like us, trees also must deal with different types of stress events during their lives. For years, researchers from the University of Innsbruck have been leading the way on studying how climate change affects mountain forests. Throughout my talk, I will share some of the wonders of trees, along with some of the stresses they face in the Austrian mountains.
